Koi No Yokan | 7.3/10 - Good
💭 Thoughts: Koi No Yokan is Deftones’ seventh studio album, where the band continues to incorporate heavy shoegaze elements into their alternative metal sound. It’s a very consistent listen throughout, and none of the tracks are necessarily bad, however the songs for me tend to blend together really easily. It’s not that ambitious, especially when compared to the band’s other albums like White Pony or Saturday Night Wrist. For me, it just feels like a worse version of Diamond Eyes, but more atmospheric. Good album, but it’s too repetitive and predictable.
