**💭 Thoughts:** LINKIN PARK’s debut album *Hybrid Theory* is arguably one of metal’s most important albums of the 21st century. To be honest, I’m not a huge fan of Chester Bennington’s vocal style. I think this album is great, and I love the instrumentals—from the crushing guitar riffs to the record scratches—but I generally prefer the vocal styles of Jonathan Davis or Corey Taylor when it comes to nu-metal. This might be a hot take, but I don’t really consider LINKIN PARK to be nu metal. While the album certainly shares elements of the genre, I view *Hybrid Theory* as more of a rap metal album due to its more frequent rapped verses compared to other nu-metal bands like Korn or Slipknot. **🎶 Tracklist Review** 1.)
