β**π Thoughts:** Legendary jazz-rap outfit A Tribe Called Questβs debut album *Peopleβs Instinctive Travels and the Paths of Rhythm* introduces the groupβs signature sound of jazz-heavy samples and Q-Tip and Phife Dawgβs iconic dynamicβwith Q-Tip carrying the vibes with his smoother, laid-back rapping, and Phife carrying the energy with his punchy and humorous rapping. This record isnβt bad, however I believe its best quality is being a useful stepping stone for their later albums, especially because Phife Dawg isnβt as present throughout the record in comparison to the rest of their discography.
