I genuinely can't sit through this album. 4.3 because I get the ideas and I hear how influential it was. But basically every single interesting idea ended up getting done more successfully elsewhere.

This album feels like an atonal disaster that never resolves. I don't get how people actually enjoy it.

Even Pavement, which seems to have done a lot of these ideas way better, I don't find particularly interesting or enjoyable. But it has at least some bright spots that I can't really find in this album.

In the back of my mind is the idea that maybe I just need to listen to it a lot more. Maybe! But for now you get reamed. L bot
