Lonely Women EP is a great start off to TV Girls debut into what they’d be forming into, which is one of the biggest indie bands of all time. I love how raw their sound is in this short EP. Definitely inspired, not totally their own unique style yet but you can definitely see the potential that they will be releasing more diverse projects down the line. And of course, especially in their early releases, every couple of tracks it’s named after some female name. So they were definitely playing around with that idea of ‘let’s just talk about relationships and girls’ concept, which in the universe we live in, is what road they took. I honestly think this EP is great, it doesn’t feel like a bunch of tracks from their sessions were thrown together (which is most EPs nowadays since Mixtapes aren’t a thing anymore.) Great collectors listen if you’re getting bored of the main TV girl material.
