Pretty good

I love the weird vibe of this album. The juxtaposition from the intro to the rest of the tracks is pretty coo. I really love majority of the tracks on this album. The duo were working through a hard time in life, I believe own fo them were going through a divorce. The pain and uncertainty in life was apparent in this album. So many catchy tracks and weird vibes throughout. I would give it a higher rating, but I was debating on giving it a high 7 or a low 8. I thinks it’s simply because I’m new to Ween’s game and unfamiliar with the “weird” vibes. It’s not that I can’t get into it, but the roller coaster of sounds in this album can be jarring to me at times. We go to a punk style opening, then a slow down Alamo like dream like song with ‘Zoloft’ and this somewhat continues until we reach the 5th track. It’s not a problem whatsoever, but maybe the cohesion is bothering me I’m not sure. This is probably like my 5th or 6th listen, but it’s far from a bad album. It’s really good.
