he’s done it again

this album is crazy because it feels like kendrick is telling two different stories depending on how you listen to it. playing it normally feels like a journey through his fear, pride, anger, faith and everything he’s fighting within himself. then you play it backwards and the whole album feels completely different, like you’re seeing the same story from another perspective. and when you get to duckworth and hear how kendrick’s whole life could’ve been completely different because of one decision his dad and top dawg made years ago, it puts the whole album into perspective. there’s so much thought behind this album.
