Iowa | 9.4/10 - Exceptional
💭 Thoughts: On Slipknot’s 2001 album Iowa, titled after their home state, they continuing embracing their sound from their self-titled debut—screamed vocals, crushing, down-tuned speed riffs, and fast-paced, double bass, drumming—ultimately working in their favour. Not my personal favorite Slipknot album, but definitely up there.
