Geese on absolute top form. Everything is perfect, from Cameron’s cowboy style vocals to Dominic’s driving basslines. It’s hard to express the excitement and joy this album brings me. I remember the instant obsession when my dad played me the title track on the drive to my girlfriend’s house. It was this album that introduced me to Max’s electric drumming and it’s this album that I come back to time and time again. It is equal parts joyous and fascinating. Seeing songs like ‘I See Myself’ and ‘Cowboy Nudes’ live was a truly special thing which I will treasure for a long time. Something about 3D Country resonates with me on a level which no music ever really has. It’s not the most polished, emotional or experimental album ever made but it is absolutely my favourite. Thank you Geese. Fav song: Crusades

Getting Killed by Geese is one of those albums that sneaks up on you but in the best, weirdest way possible. It balances chaotic energy with surprisingly thoughtful songwriting, like the musical equivalent of running from a flock of birds but realizing halfway through that the chase kinda rules. The production is sharp, playful, and intentionally unhinged at times, but it never loses its melodic core. The hooks stick, the lyrics have personality for days, and the pacing keeps you locked in from track to track. Not every experiment lands perfectly, but the charm and confidence behind the chaos more than make up for it. It’s quirky, bold, and way more cohesive than a title like Getting Killed by Geese would ever suggest. A fun, creative record that deserves its four stars.

One of the best done live albums. This album succeeds in all the places their 3rd Man Records album fails. A genuinely interesting twist on 3D Country with a great accompanying video. The backup singers add great depth to some of Geese’s strongest tracks. The inclusion of Jesse shows they know what the fans want to see. Fav song : 2122 (Live)
