“Shop talk about the industry of In Rainbows has largely pulled focus off the bonus CD tucked into Radiohead's $80 discbox-- but maybe that's for the best.”
“These wily boys may have a secret album-title exchange program with Kelly Clarkson, but everything else about In Rainbows is typically hard-rocking Radiohead. Like every other Radiohead album except Kid A— still their most famous album, but they only made it once —In Rainbows has uptempo guitar songs and moody acoustic ballads, fullof headphone-tweaking sound […]”
“That lack of tension and urgency throughout stops A Moon Shaped Pool from being a classic on par with Radiohead's best work, but then, perhaps that's the wrong standard to reasonably hold an album that trades the band's trademark anxiety for acceptance, their experimentalism for elegance.”
“Throughout its tenure, Radiohead has crafted numerous legendary albums steeped in heartbreak and unease. This shifted in 2007 with the release of “In Rainbows.” In Rainbows is a very lush and intimate record that transcends listeners into another dimension. Despite being more accessible and melodic, In Rainbows still manages to push a quietly devastating theme. The record is exceedingly compelling due to the fact it is emotionally rich, yet doesn’t sound overly dramatic or performative. I don’t consider this album a 10/10, not because it lacks quality, but because I personally gravitate toward the darker, more unsettling atmosphere of their earlier albums. Still, In Rainbows is undeniably a masterpiece, and I believe it is a High 9.”
“Um dos discos mais fodas que já ouvi, eu amo esse disco e tinha esquecido o quanto. Simplesmente não tem música ruim, é impossível pular uma faixa. Esse disco mora no meu coração. Vibe comer milho cozido e logo depois banana frita Faixa favorita - all I need, weird fishes, reckoner eu amo todas na verdade, difícil escolher uma.”
“This has been my first 10/10 album this year, and yes, I’ve only just listened to this album. Almost every song on this album is completely perfect and is a really good way of getting into Radiohead if you haven’t listened to them before. Powerful vocals, powerful instrumentation, touching lyrics.”
“Easily Radioheads best album in my opinion. There are some experimental moments that some people may not like, but that’s to be expected with Radiohead. This is a beautiful album that everyone can enjoy.”
“Songs like Weird Fishes and Nude send you into a state of Euphoria. An experience I recommend everyone tries at least twice in their life. Amazing record.”
“Not much I really can say. Album does wonders to your ears. Easily one of the best OF ALL TIME. Favorite song: Reckoner Least favorite song: N/A”
“beautiful, calm album. i liked really every song from it. great introduction to radiohead, i gotta listen to some other albums now.”
“Solid album but unfortunately there’s a lot of performative liking from mfs who probably have not listened to the whole thing”
