“Uchis’ latest expresses sentiments that, if not strictly ecclesiastical, certainly come off as spiritual. Love isn’t simply something people feel. It’s something that happens to them, that shapes them, gives them definition, and maybe even has the power to redeem them or the world around them.”
“An ambitious pop artist offers a rich retro-pop exploration of family and tradition”
“a soulful celebration of love’s healing power”
“The singer-songwriter’s new album is a phantasmagoria of pleasure—the perfect complement to her talent for keeping her cool.”
“While some bolder vocal performances would have made it even better, Sincerely, is Kali Uchis' most mature and personal project so far.”
“**💭 Thoughts:** *Sincerely,* is Colombian-American singer-songwriter Kali Uchis’ 2025 studio album—a record that appears to have her at her most dreamy and atmospheric yet. I find that her focus on having the tracks seamlessly flow into the next results in many of the songs to blend together. While this could be argued as a positive aspect—and to some extent it is for building atmosphere—I find that it makes each track lack distinction, especially because the songwriting is somewhat repetitively mellow. Overall, It’s a solid album, with mostly every track being good on their own, however, as a listening experience from front to back, the songwriting gets a bit stale by the half way point. **🎶 Tracklist Review** 1.) “Too much reverb it’s almost impossible to hear the words. Her voice is covered by the instrumentals. Aside from that, her vocals and lyrics are the best she’s ever brought to an album. If not for the poor mixing, this would be sooo good”
