Terms of Use

1. Agreement

Rate.fm is a music rating and reviews app operated by Union St (“we,” “us”). By creating an account or using Rate.fm, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you don’t agree, don’t use the app.

2. Your Account

You must be at least 13 years old to use Rate.fm. You’re responsible for the activity that happens on your account. Keep your sign-in method secure, and let us know if you believe your account has been compromised.

3. Your Content

You own the ratings, reviews, comments, lists, photos, and other content you post. By posting, you give us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, display, and distribute that content within Rate.fm so the app can work as intended. You can delete your content at any time, and deleting it ends this license.

4. Objectionable Content

There is no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive behavior on Rate.fm. That includes harassment, threats, hate speech, sexually explicit material, spam, impersonation, and content that’s illegal or infringes someone else’s rights. We may remove content and suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, without notice.

Every post and comment can be reported from inside the app, and any user can be blocked. Blocking someone immediately removes their content from your feed. We review reports within 24 hours and remove content that violates these terms.

5. Music Services

Rate.fm can connect to streaming services like Apple Music and Spotify to power playback and listening history. Your use of those services is governed by their own terms, and we’re not responsible for their availability or behavior.

6. Our Content

Album artwork, artist imagery, and music metadata belong to their respective owners. The Rate.fm app, name, and design are ours. Don’t scrape, copy, or resell any part of the service without permission.

7. Disclaimers

Rate.fm is provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we’re not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app.

8. Changes

We may update these terms as Rate.fm evolves. If we make material changes, we’ll update the date at the top of this page. Continuing to use the app after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.
