“Hailing from humble beginnings, Flyy’s journey from a broken home, through the juvenile system, to trolling rappers on live and eventually becoming The Current Thing provided him with an opportunity to kick off a music career. It’s clearly something he always wanted, although probably not for the right reasons. But with his gimmick “I’m an island boy” sounding like a catchy song lyric, he couldn’t have been better positioned. Unfortunately, some stars burn too bright. This is the only contender for a cultural contribution to music he was able to manage. He went on to go viral again for kissing his brother (which consequently got banned from onlyfans). AFAIK things devolved from there and left him unable to find his way. He left us with a time capsule of a 15 minute moment. The saddest part is I think he had some musical potential.”
