“When "Easy" originally oozed out on singer/producer Ryan Lott's latest album as Son Lux, last year's Lanterns, it was a song about willful disconnection punctuated by horns borrowed from Tom Waits' basement and a blinking beat that could make Jacob Marley lean and/or rock with it. This reinterpretation is still all of those things, but it's now deeper, harder, scarier, better—thanks to Lorde.
