“Last year, an eleven-minute live video of Magik Markers' "Bonfire" made the rounds, and it was prototypical Markers: eight minutes of unyoked, fearless noise with radical guitar feedback followed by a no-fi punk kicker. The last bit ended up as a proper song on Magik Markers' new LP, Surrender To the Fantasy (out November 19 via Drag City), their first album in nearly four years.
