Classic — Was introduced to LINKIN PARK though my parents and the popular songs ‘Faint’ and ‘Numb’. Initially I listened to ‘Numb / Encore’ with JAY-Z but I prefer this album’s version as it has a more consistent vibe. There are zero skips on this album, I struggle to give it a 10/10 however because of ‘Session’ not matching the rest of the album. It was experimental and may have won awards, but its not for me. Overall, anybody who isn’t into any form of UK drill/grime should listen to this.

Recycling — Many of these songs are absolute bangers, but bbno$ decided to make the decision of the majority of the songs to be re-releases of his previous songs. Like most, I discovered bbno$ through TikTok ages ago with his hit song ‘La la la’. I don’t listen to it anymore. His first song to reintroduce me was it boy, which is seen on this album too, despite being released over a year before it. Overall, my recommended listens from this album are ‘bing bong’ for the repetitive yet powerful chorus, pump it for its driving melody and ‘finally up’ for something completely different to the rest of bbno$’ discography.

A feeling indescribable — I learned about The Caretaker from my time on Backrooms related media forums and socials. I decided to check out other albums and this one hit harder than ‘Everywhere at the end of time’ for me. The crackles and odd stereo mixing produces an uncomfortable sensation in the listener, exactly as intended. The album seems to ‘deteriorate’ over time. If you want something different, its for sure worth a try.

Best era of PinkPantheress — I listened to ‘Tonight’ constantly before the release of the full album and was obsessed, leading me to add the entire album to my library before it released. I do love a Dolby Atmos release, I have a unique use case but damn does it ever sound good. The vocals are very well mixed and all tracks have a good balance between that heavy bass and a strong melody. Her use of samples is unmatched! In terms of meaning, it lacks a little. There is not too much of a coherent theme throughout, which is why I went with 9/10. The music sounds amazing, the lyrics make sense, but all together don’t mean too much 🫤. It really does give that Y2K theme with a modern, progressive theme. A very good listen and highly recommended. P.S. Remember to remove ‘Intermission’ if you’re playing your library on shuffle 😅
