Not crazy into this type of music which makes this album even more impressive. Not once did I listen thinking any of this was bad, there was a bit of the album during that middle that did sound like nothing had changed from song to song and got a little repetitive. The vocals, drums and guitars used in this album all go perfectly together and create this somber yet grand vibe throughout. Top songs are ‘Do I Wanna Know?’ ‘I Wanna Be Yours’ ‘Why’d You Only Call Me When You’re High’ ‘Knee Socks’ ‘R U Mine?’

A pop masterpiece. This album and its hits absolutely dominated the charts and the whole pop scene in the 2010s and made Katy Perry a pop superstar. Its hits are great but the lesser known songs on the album are really mid. The perfect soundtrack to the perfect game. The nostalgia that comes with this is insane and the memories of coming home from school to hop on Minecraft on the Xbox 360 Arcade, spending all night and day building our own worlds was incredible. Bringing back so many memories with friends that are gone or that don’t keep in contact anymore. This is a soundtrack for Minecraft but it could easily be a soundtrack to my youth and probably millions of other people as well. The soft piano paired with various different cords to create this peaceful, tranquil setting is perfect and I don’t think any but C418 could’ve done it. Pleasantly surprised by this album. I remember listening years ago and thinking it was mid but this re-listen was great and really entertaining.
