Kind of incredible that it's taken this long for a band to go right ahead and name themselves Twin Peaks, but there you go. There's a few similarities between Twin Peaks and garage-pop scrappers Smith Westerns: they're both from Chicago, they're both young (all the members of Twin Peaks are 19 years old), and they both embrace robustly scuzzy, slightly glammy guitar pop with youthful vigor. This ebuillent cut is from Twin Peaks' debut LP, Sunken, which drops July 9 via Autumn Tone.
