"Fo Real," an immediate highlight from Future's mixtape F.B.G.: The Movie, is a rare summit for Drake and Future, but the real star of the song is the Atlanta producer Mike Will Made it, who passes every sound through his signature low-pass filter dunk tank so it emerges glimmering, as if from the bottom of a pool. Future is most at home in aquamarine environments, and on "Fo Real" he happily gurgles the amniotic fluid surrounding him. Drake shows up with a few of the lead-footed clankers he used to drop more consistently back in the summer of '09, but he only lingers for a few bars before disappearing, while Future backstrokes, happily, alone.
