A Diary Disguised as an Album
This album feels like laying on the floor at 2am staring at the ceiling while your thoughts get a little too honest. It’s self-destructive, but healing at the same time, like Halsey stopped trying to perform and just started telling the truth about health, family, identity, and surviving life as a human being.
If this album was a person at a party, it’s the friend who disappeared for a while and finally came back ready to honestly tell everyone what they’ve been through. As someone who’s struggled with health and mental health this past year, this album made me feel deeply seen.
