Way back in February, we posted enigmatic producer Sophie's "Nothing More to Say" and "Eeehhh"-- only, the two sides of that Huntleys and Palmers single were mashed together into one pleasurably satisfying, electro-retro blowout. Today, Sophie returns with a brand new single, this time on Numbers; "Bipp" b/w "Elle" drops today digitally, and both tracks feature a different look for Sophie, albeit one that continues his distinctly pop viewpoint. While the A-side, "Bipp", is all hyperspeed vocal gymnastics, "Elle" takes a path that more closely resembles the work of folks like TNGHT and Rustie, with build-and-break synths and plenty of hard-hitting drums.
