Don't let the exceedingly goofy name fool you: Los Angeles trio Wildcat! Wildcat! are more about restraint than anything else. Their new song, "Please and Thank You", is something of an exercise in building a song that centers around a main theme without becoming stale or repetitive, shifting between slo-mo loneliness, MGMT-esque spacey psych pop, and ethereal vocal pitter-patter with ease. The band already have an EP under their belt, and it looks like this song suggests that more is on the way in 2013.
