ADR is New York producer Aaron David Ross, one-half of doom techno duo Gatekeeper. While an HD crispness also shapes his solo production, aesthetically he couldn’t be further from the duo’s cineplex theatrics. Tripping from jazzy pop to ambient drum and bass, "Slush Fund" is the  candy-flavored first taste of his second ADR album Chunky Monkey. Vocally, it finds itself somewhere between Holly Herndon’s exploration of non-verbal expression and Scatman John’s 90s mashup of scat singing and chart dance, which is pleasurable territory to explore.
