Club Cheval's Canblaster returns with his Infinite EP next week, his first release since his jazzy, future-bass influenced techno run on Totem back in 2011. "I Think About U," the EP's lush lead single, is a densely layered instrumental with a dark, brooding piano melody that rises up out of ambient synths, surges of washed-out organs, and and a minimal, driving beat. Sample-heavy juxtaposition continues to be a favorite move for the producer, and shines when an imploring vocal emerges at the drop, throwing the song into an impromptu R&B groove.
