Italian producer Michele Balduzzi makes glitch-happy, genre-splayed electronic music as Phonat. He's been relatively silent in recent years, his last major release being 2010's Cockroaches EP, but on June 4 he returns with a new EP for Skrillex's OWSLA label, Identity Theft. This particular tune employs a cut-and-paste approach to 2-step's loping rhythmic gait, a chocolate-and-peanut-butter combo that does the trick.
