Cut Copy's excellent third LP, Zonoscope, showed up in our Top 50 Albums of 2011 list today (#28, to be precise). That album's epic closing track, "Sun God", got an eight-minute rework by producer and all-around electronic elder statesman Andrew Weatherall; the results are predictably great. Check it out below. The "Sun God" single will feature the original song and this remix, as well as another version of this remix; it's out January 20 in Australia, January 23 in Europe, and January 24 in the U.S. via Modular.
