After last year's Another Generation EP, Tokyo drum'n'bass veteran Makoto is back on R&S offshoot Apollo with a new release, Primitive, which drops on the label on October 7. The lead and title track slows things down a little rhythmically, with tumbling jazz drums, a smattering of contemplative keys, and a few squealing horns to produce a psychedelically fast-slow feel.
