Thanks to the success of last year's addictive "My Life"-- partial shouts-out to the year-long major label spendathon that consumed 2012-- Atlanta youngsters Rich Kidz were promptly snapped up by Columbia Records. And, as is clear from their new single "Ratchet," it's theirs, they spend it, to the tune of features from Chicago drill sergeant Chief Keef and fellow Atlantan time-bender Future. "We're different," says Skooly, half of Rich Kidz, in a press release. "We like going overboard." The hook is proof-- "I ain't matching, top to bottom/ Got on four different designers." "Ratchet" aims for the club and doubles-up Future's most famous boast at the same damn time.
