It’s ok

For a debut album it’s not bad. It’s ok, I really love the atmosphere of this album. The intro references Charley and the Chocolate Factory and twists it to a horror soundtrack. I love the atmosphere and texture there it’s just so menacing. Get Your Gunn, Wrapped in Plastic, the prelude, Dope Hate, and maybe Snake Eyes and Sissies are pretty good. They’re pretty catch and are songs I go back to. I think that My Monkey is just fucking abysmal. Horrible song that is just noise. Cake and Sodomy isn’t really a good track to me. It just sounds edgy and trying to be shocking for the sake of shock. Not my style, but for a debut album it’s not really noteable, but it’s ok. I do really like the album cover it’s really cool. I also appreciate that Manson himself actually created it with paper mache.
