Houston-via-Los Angeles singer/producer Seven Davis Jr. has been building steam for a bit now with his impressively sultry hybrid of funk, R&B, and dance music; on March 11 (April 11 digitally), Funkineven's Apron label will release his debut EP, P.A.R.T.Y. The title track, which features contributions from Mezmawho, is a good introduction to SDJ's intriguing style.
