Review
Get the appSombr’s debut album has a clear mood and intention, and that’s honestly its biggest strength. I Barely Know Her leans into soft, introspective pop with a diary-like vulnerability that feels sincere, even when it plays things a little too safe. The melodies are pleasant and the emotions are real, but the project sometimes blends together and leaves you wanting a few bigger risks or standout moments. Still, for a first album, it shows promise and it’s easy to root for an artist who already knows how to be this honest.
