South London producer Dylan Richards has worked under other guises before-- notably, Zilla and King Cannibal-- and now he's assumed a new moniker, House of Black Lanterns. His debut LP under the name, Kill the Lights, saw release earlier this year via Fabric's Houndstooth imprint; on August 12, he releases a new EP for the label, You, Me, Metropolis. The title track appeared on Kill the Lights, and its combo of hard-hitting beats and dreamy, Vangelis-style synth work are reminiscent of fellow UK man Kuedo's gamechanging 2011 LP Severant.
