Basement Jaxx's original tunes have always wowed, but they've made for good remix fodder too (see: Steve Gurley's incredible take on "Red Alert" that appeared on Oneman's Fabriclive mix last year). Here, Londoner Huxley-- whose collaborative EP with fellow UK knob-twiddler Shenoda drops next month via Defected-- twists Jaxx's new single, "What a Difference Your Love Makes", into a steppy house-infused jammer that messes with the original's pop heights just enough.
