Detroit legend Juan Atkins and German innovator/Basic Channel member Moritz von Oswald have collaborated on-and-off over the past two decades, but they're just getting around to releasing a collaborative LP. The album in question's called Borderland, and it's out June 10 via Tresor; it was recorded in the beginning of this year in Berlin, and "Mars Garden" is a tunnelling slab of deep bass and weightless synth detritus.
