Revered UK bass label Hotflush has been on something of a neon-romantic streak lately. Late last year, they released the gorgeous, pink-hued self-titled debut of NYC-via-Berlin duo Sepalcure; this year's seen the open-hearted new album from label boss Scuba, Personality, and Detroit veteran Jimmy Edgar's forthcoming LP on the label, Majenta (out May 7) promises to be a suitably after-hours affair. Another artist working with sultry vibes is Scottish producer Michael Rintoul, aka Beaumont, whose new EP for Hotflush, Never Love Me, drops on April 23. "Rendez-Vous" is the fourth cut on the release.
