Two years after his solid Simulat, dance producer Cosmin Nicolae's Cosmin TRG project is readying a new album, Gordian, for release via 50 Weapons on April 26. As our own Andrew Gaerig noted in his review of Simulat, Nicolae is notoriously hard to pin down in terms of sonic style, and first single "New Structures for Loving" continues that streak, with a meditative bed of ambience that's quickly joined in by some deep 4/4 action and swirling melodic elements that orbit the track's core like space detritus.
