The latest release to come from Actress' always-reliable Werkdiscs imprint is the debut EP from German DJ Helena Hauff, who, as Resident Advisor points out, previously released a cassette-only mix for Blackest Ever Black offshoot Krokodilo Tapes. The Actio Reactio EP is out August 5; the title track is a harrowing ten-minute tunnel of hollow synth work and distorted, crashing percussion, so the warped-VHS-at-a-distance video that accompanies it is a nice visual counterpart.
