"Made to Stray", the first single from Mount Kimbie's forthcoming LP Cold Spring Fault Less Youth, found the UK dub-pastoral duo ditching the click-clack textures of 2010's solid Crooks & Lovers for something darker and more club-ready. Second single "Blood and Form", though, suggests that Dominic Maker and Kai Campos haven't ditched their offbeat sensibilities yet, with dampened drums and a few wheezing synths serving as the creaky backbone for some dusky vocals. Cold Spring Fault Less Youth is out May 27 via Warp.
