Genre-juggling veteran producer Leyland Kirby's experienced a slightly raised profile over the past few years, thanks to excellent releases from his ambient-focused projects the Caretaker and the Stranger. On February 17, he'll release a new EP under his own name via R&S offshoot Apollo, AMB1401; "Breaks My Heart Each Time" is one of a few left-turns (considering Kirby's recent output, anyway) featured on the release, with antigravity synths orbiting Disney-sounding strings flourishing in the background.
