Producer Giraffage is signed with Alpha Pup and is scheduled to perform a set at Los Angeles' Low End Theory venue, but if you're looking for his musical kindred, look no further than the members of the Wedidit collective. The candy-colored tones and dichotomy of slowed-down and sped up R&B of the producer's new single "Close 2 Me" posits him as an omnivorous music lover of the Ryan Hemsworth/Salva/R.L. Grime variety. On "Close 2 Me," Giraffage plays with Cathy Dennis' 1990s disco hit "Touch Me All Night Long" to great effect, keeping her voice light and speedy for the majority of the song before he turning her into a powerful alto near the end of the track.
