Following last year's intriguing debut EP, Meantime, British producer/crooner Kwes is back with his first full-length, ilp., out October 15 in North America and a day before everywhere else via Warp. The eight-minute shape-shifter "Cablecar" is a moodier piece than previous Kwes highs such as "bashful." and "Igoyh", providing for a few surprises for those who maybe thought they had this malleable artist figured out.
