Morgan "Evil" Håkansson, guitarist of Marduk, started Death Wolf as a Misfits/Samhain cover band called Devils Whorehouse close to 13 years ago. The Swedish group's second album under the Death Wolf moniker, II: Black Armoured Death, is out March 19 on Century Media. You can still tell they're black metal guys who like Glenn Danzig, but the collection dips into other territories; for instance, a cover of Death in June's "Little Black Angel". That, and "Death Wolf March" has a Tom G. Warrior feel to it.
