Producer Jon Convex is 1/2 of bass-leaning duo Instra:Mental, and later this year he's set to release a solo album, Idoru. Today, he releases the first in a series of EPs leading up to that LP, suitably titled Idoru #1, courtesy of his own Convex Industries label. Here's the lead track (which sounds like it samples the opening drones of Hot Chip's "Take it In") and a remix from Brodinski, operating under his G. Vump alias.
