Following the release of the Fresh & Onlys' Soothsayer EP earlier this year, Tim Cohen's tender, familiar baritone will grace us once again in 2013. This time, it's on his third Magic Trick record, River of Souls, out December 3 via Empty Cellar. "Come Inside" is a track with some lovely acoustic guitar work, supplemental droplet synths, an additional set of strings, and the feminine voices of Noelle Cahill and Alicia Vanden Heuvel. It's a smooth, quiet affair, where Cohen's titular, yearning request drawls like a squeezed-out speck of honey. His voice hovers around the same theatricality that's implemented by his bandmate Wymond Miles, and on a track that sounds this mournful, why wouldn't that be the tone?
