Norman Fucking Rockwell! is easily one of my favorite Lana Del Rey albums. As a longtime fan, this is the album where I feel like everything I love about Lana just clicked; the dreamy production, the California atmosphere, the messy relationships, and especially her songwriting. “Venice Bitch,” “Mariners Apartment Complex,” “The Greatest,” and “hope is a dangerous thing…” are just incredible. There’s something so timeless and emotionally honest about this album that I can come back to it years later and still feel the same way. Lana has made so many great records, but NFR! will always have a special place in my heart.
