Review

I’m an excitable boy.

This album caught me by surprise. With lyrics about Woodrow Wilson, werewolves, raping, and love. You don’t know what direction this album is going in.

The only thing consistent about this album is great production. Funky guitar playing and some jazzy saxophone.

Warren’s vocals are a mixed bag. Some songs he sounds like Billy Joel, others closer to Bruce Springsteen. A couple tracks could be Stan Roger deep cuts.

Although the instrumentals are classic they aren’t too progressive. It’s the lyrics are what feel the most creative to me.

Just remember you can always hide in Honduras.
