As he proved with last year's Control System, Ab-Soul is the group's lexical mastermind, so on "The End Is Near", we get Soulo letting off double entendres ("Ab's" and "abs," "leader" and "liter") and subtly intricate lines where the excellence could slip by on a cursory listen ("Now we smokin' by the O like the letters P and N").
