After spending the past year remixing other artists (Bondax, Little Boots) and dabbling in everything from balearic beat to piano house for his own work, electronic producer Moon Boots now gives us perhaps his best track to date, “Love Strong." The song is indebted to the contemporary aesthetic of nu-disco, but it's still faithful to the tradition of the best vocal and piano house tracks. Beginning with bubbling synths and a tuneful melody, "Love Strong" quickly builds to a dirty synth bass and a soulful vocal sample: “Do me right, don’t do me wrong/I’ll hold on if the love is strong” looped throughout the track, like a late-night dance floor battle cry.
