Reviewing 2026 projects: Project: #031 Title: IT'S BEEN AWFUL Artist: Isaiah Rashad Tagline: Isaiah's IT'S BEEN AWFUL offers a very easy and smooth listen, with a sonically warm and tranquil blanket covering his slowly deteriorating mind. This project is calm. It is not overdone, not over the top, not underwhelming, but hits just right where it should be. Though whilst it has that warm and mellow sound, it also opens up Isaiah's conscious mind, letting his thoughts just flow out. It's also a really easy listen, smooth, panned out (but also in a good collective boundary so that it doesn't sound too extremely different to each other). Each track has their own identity, their own mood, and own personality. Also this is the first time I've heard of this guy, and this is a great first impression. Some of the vocals sound a bit weird though. Also that track run from 7-12 is insanely good. FAVOURITES: CAMERAS, AIN'T GIVIN' UP, GTKY LEAST FAVOURITES: SAME SH!T Simplified rating: 9/10
