Britain’s musical anomaly

Raye is an artist who has had difficulties in her journey, but thankfully she overcome all adversity to release her debut album ‘My 21st Century Blues’, a genre bending opus with some incredibly layered vocals and lyrics about said adversities. It’s not just about her struggles as an artist but as a female artist. A highlight of the album is ‘Body Dysmorphia’, a song which sounds self explanatory on paper but ends up being deeper than you think with its experimental sounds.
